Creative Nonprofit Solutions is a virtual assistance company based in Connecticut.  We use the latest technology to work with clients and produce high quality results.  We assist nonprofit organizations reach their target audience through a variety of services including creative desktop services and speech and grant writing services.  We also provide grant writing and effective speaking training so that clients may better serve those who depend on their programs and guidance.

  What is a Virtual Assistant?

 

 

A virtual assistant (or VA) is an independent contractor who provides administrative, technical, or creative assistance to clients.  A VA uses various technologies to communicate with clients; including phone, fax, instant messaging, email and intranet.

 
A VA is not an employer and therefore does not require the necessary costs of a full-time employee.  A full-time employee requires benefits, paid time-off, sick days and various other expenses.  A VA is responsible for the costs of running a business, not the client.
 
Some VAs offer retainer services which allows a client to prepay for a block of time in the upcoming month(s).  Other VAs are paid hourly or per project.
