Andrea Okrentowich, owner of Creative Nonprofit Solutions, has a passion for leadership and community outreach organizations. As a leader in her community, Andrea works for the improvement of low to moderate income housing for residents across Connecticut. Andrea is a member of the Public Housing Resident Network (PHRN), a nonprofit organization which addresses the needs of low and moderate income families throughout Connecticut.
Throughout her numerous experiences with community organizations and political activist groups Andrea realizes the unique needs of nonprofit organizations and the importance of being an effective and influential speaker and writer. As a mother of two Andrea wanted to be at home with her children and still work with nonprofit organizations; it was for that reason that Andrea created Creative Nonprofit Solutions, a virtual company. Andrea is also a graduate (GVA) of Virtual Assistance U, a globally recognized online training program for virtual assistants.
Before opening Creative Nonprofit Solutions, Andrea had a successful freelance writing and editing career. Her work has been published in print and online, in the U.S. and Ireland. She continues to work part time as the Editor of Gey Gallus, an e-zine and fansite for fellow writer and friend, Rab Swannock Fulton.
Andrea's professional writing career began in 2000 and has continued to flourish over the years. She is a recognized copywriter and press release writer. She has had articles published in magazines and journals across the US as well as on the Internet.
